About The Role

We have a fantastic vacancy for an HR Business Partner to join our high performing and friendly HR department. Based in our city central Bristol offices, this is a great opportunity to partner with key business areas to ensure strategic alignment between HR and business strategy.

Reporting into the Head of HR Business Partnering, the successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and management, enabling the business to deliver its people agenda to enhance organisational performance, employee engagement, and talent development. The role also ensures all people initiatives are effectively implemented to support business growth and transformation.

The role will also support the HR Advisors, providing guidance as an escalation point regarding complex Employee Relations cases when required, ensuring that advice is provided in line with legislation whilst maintaining a commercial focus.  
 
In addition, key responsibilities include:

Working with relevant leadership teams to ensure that effective people plans and activities are in place, for example around the identification and progression of Talent & Succession activity and overseeing all aspects of people change and restructuring. 

Acting as a strategic advisor on people related matters, ensuring appropriate challenge and influence is provided to business leaders to drive performance, engagement and ensure that our company values are maintained.

Being the conduit between business areas and the HR Centres of Excellence, supporting work designed by these areas being implemented within the business.  

Maintaining strong working relationships within the HR Business Partnering team to sustain consistency in delivery.

Using HR data and analytics to provide insights and drive the right decision-making for areas of improvement.

Ensuring HR policies and practices are fit for purpose and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

About You

We are keen to hear from candidates with demonstrable HR Business Partnering experience, with a track record of leveraging strong relationships across a diverse group of managers to improve culture and drive change. It is essential that you have a high level understanding of Employment Law, HR best practice and change management principles, with the ability to translate commercial needs into people interventions. 

Additional requirements include:

Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Ability to adopt a data driven mindset to use MI and analytics to drive activity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and pro-actively with minimal supervision.
