We are keen to hear from candidates with a legal background, whether you're a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, law graduate, or currently studying towards a relevant legal qualification. We’re looking for someone with strong Employment Law knowledge who is passionate about sharing their expertise, supporting colleagues and helping others develop their legal skills.
This role is ideally suited to someone with practical and/or academic experience in Employment Law and a sound understanding of a wide range of workplace issues. You'll be confident interpreting legislation, delivering clear and pragmatic advice, and using your technical expertise to coach, mentor and develop legal advisers across the team.
While Employment Law will be your key area of expertise, you'll also be willing to broaden and maintain your knowledge across other areas of law relevant to our customers, including Property, Consumer, Family, Wills and Probate, Landlord and Tenant, and Commercial Law.
In addition, we are looking for candidates that can demonstrate:
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Employment Law, with the ability to confidently advise customers and support the development of colleagues through coaching and training.
- Ability to cope within a demanding environment with a high level of motivation and work well as part of a multi-disciplined team.
- Ability to communicate effectively with commercial and personal customers, with good negotiation skills.
- Analytical, methodical and pro-active approach to problem solving.
- Previous experience delivering training, mentoring, coaching or sharing technical legal knowledge would be advantageous.
