About The Role

ARAG Legal Services UK have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to work collaboratively with the wider Marketing team and other stakeholders. Assisting the Senior Designer, you will be responsible for creating a credible, effective, and inspiring wide range of graphics and layouts for digital and print designs 

As a highly organised Designer with strong attention to detail, you will reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary as well as maintaining and developing ARAG’s corporate and bespoke literature with accuracy. 

In addition, the Designer is expected to apply their creative talent to contribute to and influence the brand’s future direction while ensuring brand integrity and consistency is maintained across all channels.  

Some responsibilities include:

  •  Working with the wider Marketing team to ensure  ARAG Group Corporate Design / Brand Guidelines are followed consistently and accurately both internally and externally.
  •  Producing and implementing original and high-quality brand visuals for a wide range of marketing content, including producing and keeping the company’s literature updated, creating digital advertising, print collateral, emails, e-shots and social media. 
  •  Maintaining our digital assets in line with Group brand guidelines.
  •  Working independently and with the Marketing team on various projects ensuring all design elements of our marketing literature, campaigns and projects are delivered on time and within quality parameters.
  •  Providing ongoing support to internal or external customers on queries, analyses, or requests where creative expertise is needed. 
  •  Providing advice and guidance about our brand to both internal and external stakeholders
  •  Taking part in ad-hoc projects as required.
  •  Taking responsibility for own learning needs & objectives
  •  Working closely with colleagues to progress knowledge & skills base.

About You

You will be an experienced highly organised Graphic Designer who has a strong attention to detail, accuracy and consistency. You will be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members whilst continuing to be meticulous, precise and offering quality on design. 

You will: 

  • Have a portfolio that includes evidence of literature, magazines, flyers, newsletters, brochures pagination projects.
  •  Proven use and mastery of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint
  •  Self-starter with creative flair 
  •  Confidence to take the lead on design projects and to proposenew ideas and concepts.
  •  Evidence of applying good core design skills to a diverse range of online and offline projects 

 

It is also desirable if you have: 

  •  Degree in design or similar or other related design or marketing qualifications
  •  Experience in software for animation (Canva) or keen to learn.
  •  Technical knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design.
  •  Sound knowledge of web UX design, functionality, and SEO.
  •  CRM experience or keen to learn. 
  •  Previous B2B experience
