You’ll have previous experience as a Legal Advisor / Paralegal (essential), ideally from a Legal Advice service type environment and be you’ll qualified as a Legal Executive, LPC / BVC / LLB, or similar.
You’ll demonstrate genuine passion for going the extra mile to ensure excellent customer outcomes, and it’s key that you have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
You’ll also be able to proactively identify both customers’ issues and potential solutions, whilst taking ownership of and following the correct processes, and present legal advice and decisions in a precise, understandable and empathetic manner.
Other key candidate requirements:
- Sound practical knowledge of areas of law such as Employment, Property, Consumer Law, as well as the ability to learn and advise on other legal issues affecting customers, such as Family, Wills and Probate, Landlord and Tenant and Commercial Law.
- Exceptional telephone manner and can demonstrate honesty, empathy and sensitivity when dealing with our customers and business partners.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and highly customer service focused in your approach.
- Analytical, methodical and proactive approach to problem solving, with strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to identify key issues and present legal advice and decisions in a precise and understandable manner and deliver high quality performance against targets and SLA’s.
- Excellent understanding of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) requirements.
